It is the policy of Ward Electric Company Inc. to protect the health and safety of our employees. We will inform, train and establish expectations for employees as to their individual responsibilities for health and safety performance. All employees will recognize that working safely is a condition of employment and that they are accountable for their own safety and the safety of those around them. We as a company routinely monitor, assess and report on the corporation’s health and safety performance to ensure that we are providing a safe and healthy work environment. At no point in time through the work day are employees encouraged put themselves in harm’s way just to get the job done, as we know this leads to disaster.
I firmly believe that recognizing and eliminating hazards along with communicating a good sound plan of the work to be performed, is the key to a good safe day.
